Partnerships

Line capacity, protected IP, and a partnership structure that fits your P&L.

SOUND partners with supplement and functional snack brands on contract manufacturing, co-development, and category-exclusive licensing arrangements. Live production, protected process and composition-of-matter IP, and a small BD team that responds inside two business days.

Partnership structures

Three commercial shapes. One manufacturing platform underneath.

Contract manufacturing

Your formulation, your brand, our line

Standard co-man commercial terms with a manufacturing platform conventional co-mans can't replicate on the actives your R&D team specified. Volume flexibility across pilot, launch, and scale.

Co-development

Joint R&D on a next-generation format

SOUND food-science and process depth on your R&D calls. Partner owns the finished IP under a defined split; SOUND retains rights to the underlying process and composition-of-matter portfolio.

Category-exclusive licensing

Own a category with the process behind it

For partners with the distribution and brand equity to lock down a category. SOUND licenses the process and composition-of-matter IP under exclusive territory, category, or channel terms for a defined period.

How we work together

Your brand on top. Our platform underneath.

SOUND is a manufacturing partner, not a competitor on the shelf. We never launch our own consumer brand into your category, we never build a competing SKU alongside your co-branded product, and we never share your formulation or first-party data with any other partner.

What your brand keeps

Brand. Customer. Category.

  • Brand identity, packaging, and creative
  • Customer relationship and first-party data
  • Ownership of the finished-product P&L
  • Pricing, positioning, and channel strategy
  • Subscription, retention, and channel distribution
What SOUND brings

Platform. IP. Production.

  • Patented ultrasonic cold-form manufacturing
  • MSA-ready commercial framework
  • Qualified production lines already running
  • Volume flexibility across pilot, launch, and scale
  • Food-science and process depth on your R&D calls
Engagement path

From first call to first production run. Four phases.

  1. 01

    Intro call

Thirty-minute BD-to-BD conversation. Category, format hypothesis, volume band, and timeline. NDA in place if the formulation is on the table.

  2. 02

    Technical review

Your R&D team meets our food-science and process leads. Ingredient list, target dose, format hypothesis, and spec walked through against the platform.

  3. 03

    Term sheet

Deal structure selected — contract, co-development, or licensing. Volume commitments, pricing framework, exclusivity terms, and timeline to first production run committed on paper.

  4. 04

    Qualification & launch

Pilot batch, third-party validation on your formula (Eurofins), MSA execution, and first commercial run scheduled on the qualified line.
